Is a Hockey Stick Putter Legal for Play?

Short answer: for the rounds most people actually play — casual rounds, outings, scrambles, and golf with friends — yes, a hockey stick putter is a putter, and that's how it's used. That's where these putters live: weekend golf, company outings, and gifts that get played, not shelved.

For sanctioned competition, the honest answer is: check with the event or the club running it. Whether any particular club conforms for formal competition depends on its exact build and the rules in force for that event, and that's a call for the tournament committee, not a product page. If you're buying a hockey stick putter to compete with, ask before you buy — and if you're buying it for fun, for outings, or as a gift, you're squarely in what it's made for.

Every putter we make is 35 inches, left or right, hand-built from a real hockey stick — a real club, built to be played.
