The Dinger: a baseball bat putter, from dugout to green
A baseball bat putter is exactly what it sounds like: a putter hand-built from a real baseball bat. Krouse Sports calls theirs the Dinger — the baseball side of the same workshop that has hand-built hockey stick putters in Gorham, Maine since 2003.
What is a Dinger bat putter?
It is a full putter built from a baseball bat, made to be played on the green, not just displayed. Like the hockey stick putters, it is hand-built, one at a time, in Gorham, Maine.
The two Dinger models
- Dominant Dinger — $129.95
- Dinger Black Barrel — $135.00
Every Krouse Sports putter is 35 inches, and the Dingers are available in right- and left-handed versions.
Dinger vs hockey stick putter
Same idea, different starting point. The hockey stick putters start from real hockey sticks — Northland from vintage-style Northland sticks, Composite from a used Pro composite stick. The Dingers start from baseball bats. Same shop, same 35-inch length, same hand-built build, same personalization options.
Who is a Dinger for?
Baseball fans who golf, coaches, and anyone whose two sports overlap. It is a natural gift for Father's Day and Christmas, and for the coach or baseball fan who already has everything else.
Can I add a name or a team logo?
Yes. Add a name of up to 25 characters for +$7.99 on any putter. Team logos and bulk custom orders, including orders of 11 or more, are handled by email as stated on the site.
How long does it take, and what does shipping cost?
Putters are usually made in 4–7 days, then shipped, with free ground shipping in the US only.
